Apple lose 5%


The creator and driving force behind Apple, Steve Jobs, has retired from his position as CEO by sending a letter to the board. The innovative founder of Apple has been unwell since 2004 when he underwent a liver transplant following pancreatic cancer. The reason for resigning is still unknown. The current Chief Operating Officer (COO) Tim Cook has been suggested by Jobs for the CEO role. Apple’s share price dropped 5% on the announcement.
