Google has purchased the mobile division of Motorola for £7.7bn ($12.5bn) as it aims to compete against some of the world’s largest competitors. Google’s entry into the handset market will place it’s competitors Blackberry, Nokia and apple on red alert as it’s anticipated Google will be entering the Android market.
